Most carpentry quotes are inflated by middlemen. The factory charges one price. The supplier marks it up. The contractor marks it up again. By the time that wardrobe reaches your bedroom, you have paid for two or three layers of markup you never even knew existed.
Our carpenters and our factory are based right here in Singapore. What we import directly is the raw plywood itself: BestPly, our own E0 grade, sourced from trusted mills in Malaysia and China. Four Things That Change Your Final Price
Understanding these four factors helps you plan your budget more accurately.
Material Choice
Laminate finishes are the most affordable, followed by melamine and plywood combinations. Natural wood veneers and solid wood are premium options. The material you choose has the single biggest impact on your final price. We always recommend the best material for your budget and usage.
Size & Dimensions
A 2-metre-wide wardrobe costs more than a 1.2-metre one simply because it requires more material. Similarly, full-height cabinets (floor to ceiling) use more material than standard-height ones. We quote based on actual measurements, not estimates.
Design Complexity
Straightforward rectangular cabinets with standard doors are more affordable. Add curved edges, integrated lighting, pull-out mechanisms, glass inserts or special hardware and the price increases. We help you find the right balance between design ambition and budget.
Project Timeline
Standard production timelines (3-5 weeks) offer the best pricing. If you need rush delivery within 1-2 weeks, express charges may apply. We always recommend planning ahead to get the best value.

- Based on BestPly, our E0 grade ultra-low formaldehyde plywood, with colour PVC or laminate finishes as stated.
- Standard soft-closing hinges included. Premium branded hardware (Blum, Hafele) and speciality accessories are quoted separately.
- Premium and speciality laminates may carry a surcharge.

Questions People Ask About Carpentry Prices
No. We build new factory carpentry. We do not repair, reface, repaint, or patch what is already in the house. Replacing a whole run with new cabinets is new work, and we still only take it if the combined order is $3,000 or more.
Yes. The whole order must be $3,000 or more. Bedroom, living room, kitchen and other pieces in the same visit can add up to that. A combined order under $3,000, we do not quote on site and we do not visit. Per-room from-prices under $3,000 are fine when they are part of a larger brief.
After you tell us what you want built, we give you an indicative range from our published rate card, and you are OK with that number. The visit is still free. The firm itemised quote follows within 24 hours of it. We do not visit first and price later.
Price differences usually come down to middlemen, material quality and business overheads. Most contractors source through multiple layers of suppliers, each adding their markup. Some use cheaper chipboard instead of plywood or skip soft-close hardware. Whether you need HDB carpentry or condo carpentry, we build everything in our own factory in Singapore and import our BestPly E0 plywood directly from mills in Malaysia and China, skipping the local middlemen. You get BestPly E0 plywood, soft-close hardware as standard and premium HPL finishes, itemised line by line.
The indicative quote is free over WhatsApp. Site measurement is also free, but only after you accept the range, the job is $3,000 or more, and it is new carpentry. We do not visit first and price later. If you decide not to proceed after a qualified visit, there is no charge.
None. Because we build it ourselves, what you see on the quote is what you pay. Our quotations are fully itemised and include materials, hardware, production, delivery and installation. Nothing extra hiding in the numbers. The only scenario where costs might change is if you request design changes after production has started, and we would discuss any price adjustments with you before proceeding.

Yes. We offer a standard 3-stage payment plan: 40% upon confirmation, 40% when production is complete, and the remaining 20% after installation and your satisfaction walkthrough. This protects both parties and ensures you only pay the balance when you are fully satisfied with the work.
