Do you do refurbishment or repair existing cabinets?

No. We build new factory carpentry. We do not repair, reface, repaint, or patch what is already in the house. Replacing a whole run with new cabinets is new work, and we still only take it if the job is $3,000 or more.

Is there a minimum job size?

Yes. We only take jobs from $3,000. Small items in the same visit can add up to that. A job under $3,000, we do not quote on site and we do not visit. Per-foot rates on the rate card are for measuring a larger job, not for a $1,800 piece on its own.

When do you come down for the free site measurement?

After you tell us what you want built, we give you an indicative range from our published rate card, and you are OK with that number. The visit is still free. The firm itemised quote follows within 24 hours of it. We do not visit first and price later.

Is this a firm carpentry quote?

No. Every figure here is the published FROM rate on our carpentry pricing guide. We quote this brief first. Your firm itemised price comes from a free site measurement only if the job is $3,000 or more.

Why do you ask what I want before showing a number?

A lump sum with no brief is a negotiating position, not a quote. We ask which runs you want, how long they are, and the property type, then apply the same rate card we publish.

What is the mockup in the PDF?

A layout sketch from the footage you entered. It is not the FREE3D design preview, which is prepared after the free site measurement.

Does this work for kitchen and wardrobe carpentry in an HDB flat?

Yes. Pick HDB, then the kitchen and wardrobe lines you want. The HDB rate card applies with no uplift.

Can I just WhatsApp instead of using the builder?

Yes. Message Kayu on WhatsApp and he will take the brief the old way. The builder is faster because the first message already carries line items.
